Happy Retirement Robert!

It’s the end of an era at Grants as we say ‘all the best’ to Robert Currie who has decided to retire from the firm and indeed the world of accountancy!

It's the end of an era at Grants as we say 'all the best' to Robert Currie who has decided to retire from the firm and indeed the world of accountancy!

Robert joined the firm in 1992 and spent the next 12 years working his way up until he was appointed a Director of the firm in 2004.  After serving 20 years a director, Robert has decided to 'take the batteries out of his calculator' and have time for himself as well as spending more time with his family.

Robert was in charge of the contractor division at Grants, providing an excellent service to every client that he dealt with and he will be missed.

In preparation for Robert's retirement, the firm recruited John Darroch as Senior Accounts manager towards the end of 2023.  John has been working hard over the last year to learn how the firm operates and the level of service that we expect to provide to our clients.

Although Robert retiring is a big change for the firm, there have been no other staff or Director changes.  Our staff have an average length of service of 20 years and this continuity will allow us to provide the same quality of service after Robert's departure.
